Fredrick R. Johnson III, 25, of Ashtabula, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Born December 4, 1996, in Columbus, he was a son of Fredrick R. Johnson Jr. and Ida M. Evans. Freddy attended Junior and Senior in Lakeside School District where he was involved in football, track, and wrestling. Freddy was a very friendly, loving, intelligent, funny, and entertaining young man. He was a leader, non-judgmental person; always looking for the person who he thought he needed his attention, care, and love. Very personable, Freddy loved people, and they loved him back. Because of this love, he reached people in the surrounding areas, and all over the world such as Germany and Italy. He freestyled music from a recording studio that was known to be played at a country bar in Florida. Freddy chose to be different from others from the way he dressed to the way he thought and corrected himself. He started his own business revamping vintage clothing and shoes. His knowledge on electronics was outstanding. Freddy spent his pastime with his girlfriend, Alcia, and family, laughing and carrying on. “We will be celebrating a beautiful and bright star whose light will never dim or be forgotten.” In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Dominique D. McNight, Tyon A. Evans, Art Evans, Jamel Johnson, Ethan Johnson; his sisters, Paciana Evans, Alliyah Mitchell, Anjel’lei Evans; great-grandmother, Eroy Watson; maternal grandfather, Donald Evans Jr.; maternal grandmother, Deborah (Gary) McConnell; paternal grandfather, Fredrick Johnson Sr; uncles, Donald Evans, John Evans, Stephen Evans, Christian Evans, Christopher Evans, Janoah Evans, Daniel Evans; aunts, Donnetta (Norris) Clay, Joanna Niang, Karen Blake, Kimberly (Dontae) Carter; and extended aunts, uncles, and cousins on both sides.
