Obituary of James Weber

James Jacob Weber

ASHTABULA – James Jacob Weber, 81, died Monday, July 2, 2018 at Saybrook Landing.

                He was born April 15, 1937 in Ashtabula, the son of Pius and Charlotte (Iwanowski) Weber and had been a lifelong area resident.

                A graduate of Edgewood High School, he earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo.  Prior to his retirement, James worked as a pharmacist for Rite Aid, Gray Drug, and several other local pharmacies.

                A lifelong member of Our Lady of Peace Parish St. Joseph Church, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Ashtabula Council #360 and a Fourth Degree Knight with the Leo J. Kane Assembly #836.

                James was a huge Cleveland Indians and Cavs fan and enjoyed collecting coins, watching TV, and reading.

                His survivors include his son, Patrick James “PJ” Weber; and his three nieces, Cynthia (Henry) Notter, Susan Russell, and Patricia Russell, all of Ashtabula; great - nieces, Nichole (Bryan) Pinta and Constance Notter; two great-great nieces and two great-great nephews

                He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Russell, and his parents.

                Calling hours will be from 9:00AM to10:00 on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Parish St. Joseph’s Church, 3330 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00A M on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace St Joseph Church, 3330 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula. Fr. David Bridling will preside. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, Ashtabula, Ohio.

                Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish.
