Obituary of Charles David Labry

Charles D. Labry DALLAS -Charles David Labry passed from this earth on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Medical City Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Born November 21, 1953 in Ashtabula, Ohio, Charly was the son of Carl P. and Ireta Avery Labry. Proud to be called a Harbor man, he attended Ashtabula school system where he graduated from HHS in 1973. Charly then served his country in the US Marine Corps for three years, and then returned to Ashtabula until 1980, relocating in Dallas. By his side was his future wife, Barbara Boothe, who he married in November 1987. An avid fan of football, baseball, and fishing, Charly also enjoyed a variety of music, art, history, and debate. He spent decades in Sales, which came naturally to him. All that ever met Charly never forgot him. Surviving Charly are his wife, Barbara, of Dallas, Texas; his twin brother, Carl D. Labry, also of Dallas; his mother, Ireta Labry, of Ashtabula; sisters, Rebecca Ollikainen, Ashtabula, Patty (Mark) Cellitti, Austinburg, and Monica (Carl) Kendall,North Olmstead; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00AM on July 14, 2020. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, Ashtabula Township.
