Obituary of Bradley Gene Massena

Bradley Gene Massena, 72, of Ashtabula passed away peacefully Monday, November 8, 2021, at Carington Park Nursing Home. He was born June 14, 1949, in Ashtabula, Ohio the son of the late Harry Edward and Mary Ellen (Hoag) Massena. Bradley was a US Army Veteran Honorably serving our country during Vietnam. Brad married Norma Caplinger on January 15, 2002. Brad worked at Premix in North Kingsville for 21 years. Brad was an avid reader and enjoyed astrology. He liked to plant flowers and listen to the oldies. Most of all he enjoyed stock car races and watching Nascar, and on Friday nights you could often find him at Raceway 7 watching the races. He is survived by his wife Norma; stepson, Robert (Cheri) Caplinger; grandchildren, Christi and Robert Caplinger; great-granddaughter, Rayanna; sisters, Lois Atkinson, Rosemarie Bowers, Wilma Fowler; brother, Allen Massena; as well as many nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry and Raymond Massena; sister, Bonnie Miller; and his parents. A celebration of Brad's Life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 1PM at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to his family.
