Obituary of Rosie Lee Miller

Rosie L. Miller ASHTABULA- Rosie Lee Miller, 74 was received into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 15, 2022. The daughter of Luetiner Dickerson and Trudy Callaway, Rosie was born on September 25, 1947, In Whitesville, Tennessee. Rosie and her family moved to the Ashtabula area when she was a young child and she remained an Ashtabula resident. Rosie and Gene Miller were united in marriage on December 28, 1968; during their fifty-three years of marriage Rosie and Gene created many memories which are now treasures of the heart. Rosie worked in the dietary department at Carrington Park and after her retirement she was a tax preparer for H&R Block. Rosie was an active member of Greater Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ. She served on the Mothers Board, Secretary for the church and the finance committee; she was a willing servant. Rosie’s cheerful personality and beautiful smile were welcome anywhere she went. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, participating in cruises with her brothers and their spouses and her church family. Rosie had a talent for quilting and sharing her gifts with those she loved. Rosie’s family was her life, she enjoyed when they came to visit and share a meal. She would encourage you to take more as she did not want you to leave her home hungry. Rosie will be remembered as a wonderful, daughter, sister, wife, mom, Grammy and aunt. Her faith in God was unwavering, her love of family was unconditional. Rosie is survived by her beloved husband, Gene; her sons, Brian Edward Miller and Anthony and Jessica VanBlaricum-Miller; grandchildren, Tiffany, Natasha, Antonia, DeVon, and Skiianna; great grandchildren, Deja, Amyiah and Cammie; siblings, James(Janis)Callaway and Donnell(Anne) White; sister-in-law, Maybelle White; many loving nieces and nephews and loving friends. Rosie was preceded death by her parents; brother, Alornzo White. Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Greater Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, 319 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. Bishop Mitchell Jones presiding.
