Obituary of Ronald C. Siebeneck, II

ASHTABULA - Ronald Siebeneck, II, 55, of Ashtabula, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in his home surrounded by loved ones. A resident of Ashtabula County all his life, he was born on March 28, 1967, the son of Ronald C. Siebeneck and Susan (Ondrejovic) Siebeneck and graduated from Ashtabula High School. On May 13, 1995, Ron married his beloved wife, Wendi (May) Siebeneck. Ron worked at the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Department for over 25 years as deputy and previously as team leader of the Ashtabula County SWAT Team. He also proudly worked as a firearms instructor and DEF Tech instructor. An avid sports fan, Ron followed his son in sports, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports. He was a member of EAC and the American Legion and some of his favorite pastimes where fishing and hunting. Ron will be deeply missed by many. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 27 years, Wendi Siebeneck; son, Garrette Siebeneck; siblings, Valarie (Leroy) Derricoatte of Ashtabula, Christian (Karin) Siebeneck of Minnesota, Kaitlin (Anthony) Chapman of Geneva; his mother, Susan Siebeneck of Ashtabula; stepmother, Terri Siebeneck of Geneva; mother-in-law, Pat May and sister-in-law, Jodi (Jeremy) Braden, both of Ashtabula; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Marcus, Leah, Alexis, Johnny, Gracie, Anthony, Jr; his dog, Alistair. He was preceded is death by his father, Ronald C. Siebeneck and his father-in-law, Gary May. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 11AM at Ducro Funeral Services, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, OH 44004. Kathleen Shaffer, CFSP, will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Griggs Corners Cemetery in Jefferson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 27, from 5PM-8PM at Ducro Funeral Services, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula and on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 10AM until the time of the service starting at 11AM.
