Obituary of Donald E. Stillman, Sr.

Donald E. Stillman, Sr., 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Andover Village. He was born on January 21, 1940, in Ashtabula the son of Mina Elizabeth and Rex Stillman, Sr. Don retired from Ken Forging and for many years worked alongside his brother, Rex, Jr. at Stillman Sewer Service. Don was a simple man and enjoyed spending time with his family. You would also find him working in his gardens or organizing his voluminous vinyl record collection. Don also loved to wheel and deal with antiques. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, Donald E. Stillman, Jr., of Dorset, Marjorie Huff of Pierpont, Dennis (Cat) Stillman of Conneaut, Geraldine (Ed) Shuss of Summersville, WV, Daniel (Heidi) Stillman of Conneaut, and Rose (Ronald) Brewer of Kingsville; precious grandchildren, Debbie Smith, Crystal (Rob) Lowthian, Paul (Sarah) Sheneman, Cory (Samantha) Sheneman, Angela Palmer, John and Courtney Palmer, Denny (Molly) Stillman, Mark (Louisa) Stillman, Sean Luce, Maryah Brewer, Cody Brewer, Angel Brewer, and Tiffany Stills; his cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Edith M. Stillman in 2016, whom he married on July 11, 1959; his beloved daughter, Debra Stillman; and his siblings, Rex, Jr., John, Dorothy, Rachel, Jim, and Frank. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00PM at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Mausoleum Chapel, 3140 E. Center St., Kingsville. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials in his memory to the Ashtabula APL, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004.
