Ashtabula Twp.- Jessica Lee Pelton, 45, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at her home.
She was born on July 6, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Charles E. “Bud” Pelton, Jr. and Christine “Chris” Leonard-Stumme. Jessica was a 1996 graduate of Ashtabula High School.
Although born with cerebral palsy, she never let her struggles keep her down. Jessica was a beacon to others, cheerful, nice and always caring for other people. She enjoyed watching television and listening to country music. Her greatest pride was her beautiful daughter, Tiffany whom she loved dearly.
Jessica will be greatly missed by her daughter, Tiffany Pelton; her parents, Chris Leonard-Stumme and Charles “Bud” Pelton, Jr.; brother, Charles (Kelly) Pelton, III; half-sisters, Julie Clark, Deena Pelton and Cassandra “CG” Pelton; grandparents, Kathleen Blair, Shirley and Charles “Bud” Pelton, Sr.; and her companion of 21 years, Ken Pelton.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lee Blair.
A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Lake Shore Park Main Pavillion.
